I’m a DJ and ambient guitarist, specializing in unique musical experiences for weddings, corporate and private events, and even wakes and funeral services.
I’m also a yoga teacher, health coach, blogger, an avid reader, a husband, a dog dad and a lover of travel, good food and wine.

Music is more than just background noise to me.
This may go without saying, but I believe that with the right presentation, everyone can learn to understand the complexity and artistry behind every piece of music, whether it’s country, reggae, techno, or metal. I am a music geek, and I seek to create experiences like the ones that initially inspired me to switch on my gear and pick up my guitar so many years ago.
My passion for this project displays my deep desire to use music (both my own and the work of others) to enhance experiences for my clients and audience. Music is the thread that binds an experience for all of us, and nothing makes a body feel freer than simply feeling the beat and moving one’s bodies.
That is why I seek to bring a unique experience to every event by “reading the crowd” and meeting people where their energy is, whether it be seeking solace in a time of grief or celebrating the greatest night of their life with their closest family and friends.
Much like my embrace of bodyweight exercise for my yoga clients, I believe that simple can be extremely powerful. I specialize in small to medium-sized events, and, unless specifically requested, I don’t use flashy lights or fog machines; I believe that the music should be able to stand on its own, and I work with my clients to cultivate a memorable experience.

What is your hourly rate?
I offer a wide variety of services, and for this reason my rates are highly tailored to my client’s needs. The fastest way to get a quote is to simply reach out and start a conversation. My goal is to work within your budget, whether you’re planning a wedding, or simply need some musical accompaniment for your yoga class.
What is a 'mobile' DJ?
A mobile DJ sets up with a smaller portable DJ setup that is perfect for small to medium-sized venues (bars, patios, halls).
A mobile DJ typically plays a variety of music depending on the context. Just to be clear, I can play requests as long as I have access to WiFi on site.
What is 'ambient' music
As a musical genre, ambient music was originated by Brian Eno in the seventies.
In short, it is music that can be enjoyed and listened to carefully, but can just as easily be used as soothing background music.
The ambient music I record and perform is created with Ableton Live, electric and acoustic guitar and a series of guitar pedals, all of which can run on battery power. This format allows me to perform in more or less any place, ranging from a wedding ceremony, to bedside for cancer patients.
What is ecstatic dance?
Ecstatic dance is a dance event with a loose structure intended to allow you to move your body to music without the aid of the booze or other intoxicants people often rely on to open up and dance. Traditionally, ecstatic dance events are not really social gatherings– in fact talking is discouraged. Rather, you are encouraged to tune into how your body wants to move in whatever way feels natural in an atmosphere where you don’t have to worry about being judged. It will also involve a sort of invocation and closing ‘ceremonies’. In short, it has more in common with a yoga class than going to a nightclub, and it is open to anyone who wants to join, including the kiddos 🙂
Where do you play?
I DJ and perform live music primarily at weddings and events, but I also specialize in performance in the wellness community for yoga classes, meditation and breathwork and ecstatic dance.
I also play for hire for happy hours, grand openings and corporate or business functions.
What kinds of music do you perform?
I am a mobile DJ, meaning that I can cater to the needs of your event (specific styles of music, events, weddings), but as an “artist” I DJ mainly minimal, deep and tech house, organic house, disco and techno music.
I am also a guitar-based musician, so I specialize in ambient guitar music, which could be considered soothing background sounds, or music that might be appropriate for meditation, contemplation, yoga or perhaps even study music.
Depending on the setting, I also perform using Ableton Live, which is an electronic production platform typically used for making electronic music.
